Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Booking Changes
1. How to Cancel
Guests may cancel a reservation by emailing info@indigoturkey.com or calling +90 212 343 55 55.
A cancellation is effective only after INDIGO confirms its receipt in writing. The date and time of the original cancellation request will determine which cancellation terms apply.
2. Cancellation Charges
Unless different terms were disclosed and accepted at the time of booking:
Within 48 hours of booking: A reservation made more than seven days before check-in may be cancelled for a full refund.
30 days or more before check-in: The reservation is fully refundable.
15–29 days before check-in: The guest will receive a 50% refund.
14 days or fewer before check-in: The reservation is non-refundable.
Reservations made within seven days of check-in: The reservation is non-refundable.
Any booking, service, payment-processing, or other expressly non-refundable fees will not be returned.
3. Long-Stay Reservations
For long-stay reservations, charges relating to the upcoming 30 days of the stay are non-refundable. If a guest cancels or shortens a long stay, any refund for the remaining period will be calculated according to the reservation terms and confirmed in writing by INDIGO.
4. Changing Apartments
A request to change apartments is subject to INDIGO’s written approval and availability.
If approved:
A request received at least 15 days before check-in may incur a charge equal to half of one month’s rent.
A request received fewer than 15 days before check-in may incur a charge equal to one month’s rent.
The rates and fees applicable to the replacement apartment—including rent, utilities, cleaning, booking, and service fees—will apply.
If the replacement apartment costs more, the guest must pay the difference. If it costs less, the reservation price will be reduced accordingly.
Payment-processing and other non-refundable fees remain non-refundable.
Any refundable balance arising from an apartment change will be calculated and settled after the guest’s final reservation ends.
5. Booking Errors and Exceptional Circumstances
INDIGO may, at its discretion, waive or reduce a cancellation charge when the guest contacts INDIGO and completes any required rebooking within six hours of the original booking.
This may apply in the following circumstances:
Incorrect dates: The guest entered the wrong dates and promptly rebooks the correct dates.
Duplicate reservation: The guest accidentally booked more than one apartment for the same period.
Travel-document problems: The guest cannot travel because of a documented visa or other official travel-document issue. The guest must provide dated evidence from the relevant embassy, consulate, or government authority. Expired documents alone do not qualify.
Any exception is subject to availability, supporting documentation, and INDIGO’s written approval.
6. Extensions and Modified Reservations
These cancellation terms apply to all reservations, including extensions, amendments, and replacement reservations, unless INDIGO confirms different terms in writing.
7. Cancellation by INDIGO
If INDIGO or the host must cancel a reservation, or if the booked property becomes unavailable because of an emergency or circumstances outside INDIGO’s reasonable control, INDIGO will make reasonable efforts to offer suitable alternative accommodation.
If a suitable alternative cannot be provided or is not accepted, the guest will receive a full refund of amounts paid for the unavailable accommodation. Unless required by applicable law, INDIGO will not be responsible for indirect expenses such as flights, transportation, or alternative accommodation booked independently by the guest.
This draft assumes you want 30+ days fully refundable, 15–29 days 50% refundable, and 14 days or fewer non-refundable. It should be reviewed by a Turkish lawyer before publication, particularly regarding mandatory consumer rights, distance-contract rules, and the enforceability of non-refundable fees.
